For those taking the bus, we leave Madison at 5:00 pm Friday.
Only 1st and 2nd year guides are required to attend the Friday evening training. All returning guides should be available Saturday morning by 8:00 am to ski.
Bring adequate cold weather clothing. This may seem obvious, but as a guide you will not be skiing at your pace but at your skiers pace. Guides usually have to bundle to remain warm while guiding and instructing. Fanny packs and water are also helpful to have and carry along. Snowshoeing and tubing are other activities that will require warm gear.
The camp provides bed linens & towels. Depending on your comfort needs an extra blanket or sleeping bag might be useful. Additional towels don’t hurt either.
Sleeping quarters are dormitory style with shared bath/shower facilities. Males & females will be assigned to seperate dorms.
All meals are served family style in the dining hall.
In consideration of the Lion’s Camp policy on alcohol & drugs we ask that you not bring any. Prescription medications are your responsibility. All buildings are smoke free. |

TALENT SHOW / BARN DANCE
|
 |
 |
|
The highlight of Saturday night festivities is the Talent Show and dance. We encourage everyone to participate. It is all in fun. Guitars, accordians, bentuflers and bambozals, poetry, drama, acts of death defying strength, skits, songs - all are welcome.
That is all for now. Our focus is on fun. If you have any questions, concerns, ideas or just want to chat about snow conditions feel free to call or e-mail me. See you soon.

Rosholt, WI is located approx. 20 miles northeast of Stevens Point on Highway 66. From north or south exit off of Interstate 39 on to east 66. Once to Rosholt, stay on 66 thru town. Approx. one mile east of town you will see a sign on the left (north) for camp. Turn left on County A. Go approx. 2 miles north. Camp is on the left.
From east or west the simplest route is to get to Stevens Point via Highway 10 to I-39 or East/West Highway 29 to Wausau and then down (south) I-39 and follow the above route.
Check in at Pinewood Lodge. Drive up to your assigned lodge, unload, then move your car to the parking lot.
